Job summary

Churches of Christ Residential Aged Care – Stanthorpe, QLD, is seeking a permanent part-time Personal Care Assistant to provide direct personal care and support to residents. You will work closely with nursing staff to maintain a safe, respectful, and homelike environment.

Key duties include assisting with personal care, mobility, meals, and social engagement, while upholding dignity and privacy. Willingness to work across day, afternoon, and night shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent (or working towards it).
• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work across day, afternoon, and night shifts.
• Hold valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not offering sponsorship for this role.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

In this role, you will provide direct personal care and support to residents, assisting them with daily living activities in line with individual care plans. You will work closely with Registered and Enrolled Nurses, contributing to a safe, respectful and supportive environment for residents.

• Maintaining residents’ dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times

About You

You are a caring and committed and someone who values teamwork and understands the importance of delivering high‑quality, resident‑centred care.
