Bolton Clarke Residential Aged Care Opportunities – Cairns QLD is seeking a Personal Care Worker for night shifts at our Farnorha home. You will support residents with daily living, wellbeing, and activities that respect independence.

Join a compassionate team in a not-for-profit provider with strong clinical support. Certificate III in IS & Ageing preferred; you'll complete checks and maintain safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing required or equivalent.
• Experience in aged care highly regarded.
• Current work rights in Australia and ability to obtain National Police Check/NDIS Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care and support residents’ wellbeing.
• Assist with daily living activities according to individual needs.

The Role

As aPersonal Care Worker,you’ll provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices.This is a night shift specific Personal Care Worker opening.

The key focus of the role will be to:

To provide high quality, safe, and timely contemporary personal care; assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents.

Support and care for residents as they age and assisting them to maintain their independence and live with dignity, self-determination and comfort.

Assist the resident with self-care needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation.

Join a caring community with opportunities to progress your career in nursing or leadership.

Ensuring an effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all residents.

To be successful, you will have:

Experience in Aged Care highly regarded

Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)

Prior to commencement - complete a National Police Check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain)
