St Vincent’s Care Maroochydore on Queensland's Sunshine Coast is seeking a Living Support Partner (Personal Care Assistant) to provide direct care in a dedicated household setting. You will support residents with daily living activities, follow care plans, and ensure safety, dignity and quality of life.

The role suits those with 6+ months in residential aged care (dementia experience welcomed) and good communication skills; a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care is essential and AutumnCare experience

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential.
• At least 6 months in residential aged care; dementia experience highly regarded.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Experience with AutumnCare or similar software; maintain accurate records.
• Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights and following care plans.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check is mandatory.

About the Opportunity:

As one of our Living Support Partners (Personal Care Assistant) you will be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team that is committed to creating a welcoming, professional and caring environment for the residents of St Vincent’s Care Maroochydore . St Vincent’s Maroochydoreis a modern, lifestyle-oriented aged care service located in a master-planned community precinct within walking distance of restaurants and shops centre on Queensland’s famed Sunshine Coast. Living Support Partners provide direct care and assistance to resident with all activities of daily living. They partner with residents to support their daily routine, lifestyle and choices and ensure they feel safe, valued, respected and engaged. This position is to work as an effective household member and is supervised, providing care for residents in a specific household. They are responsible for assisting and supporting their wellbeing through professional, caring and efficient execution of required duties.
