Job summary

St Vincent’s Care Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast seeks a Living Support Partner (Personal Care Assistant) to deliver compassionate, person-centred daily living support to residents. You’ll work within a household team, respect residents’ choices, routines and dignity, and follow care plans under the Heartprint model to promote independence and belonging.

Mandatory Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, 6 months+ residential experience, excellent service, AutumnCare experience, and NDIS Worker

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualification is essential.
• Six months+ experience in residential aged care is highly regarded.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Experience with AutumnCare or similar software and keeping good records.
• Understanding of aged care, resident rights and care plans.

About the Opportunity

As a Living Support Partner (Personal Care Assistant), you will join a dedicated team committed to providing compassionate, person-centred care to residents at St Vincent’s Care Maroochydore. Located on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, St Vincent’s Care Maroochydore is a modern aged care community close to shops, restaurants and local amenities. You will provide direct care and support with daily living activities, respecting each resident’s choices, routines, wellbeing and dignity. You will work as part of a household team to ensure residents feel safe, valued, respected and engaged. Things that work for us:

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential
• 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience (dementia experience) highly regarded
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records
• Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan
• NDIS Worker Screening Check is mandatory
