Job summary

Contract Care is seeking experienced Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our local aged care agency across the Northern Rivers, including Byron Bay, Lismore, Ballina, Mullumbimby, and surrounds. You’ll pick shifts that work for you, get paid well for them, and have a real consultant on the other end of the phone when you need one.

We partner with multiple residential aged care facilities to keep our staff close to home and minimize travel.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months' paid Australian aged care experience as a PCA.

Responsibilities

• Consistent local PCA shifts across Byron Bay, Lismore, Ballina, Mullumbimby, Bangalow, and surrounds.

About the role

Contract Care is looking for experienced Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) / Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to join our local aged care agency workforce across the Northern Rivers. We partner with multiple residential aged care facilities in the Northern Rivers, and we keep our staff working close to home as much as possible.

You’ll pick the shifts that work for you, get paid well for them, and have a real consultant on the other end of the phone when you need one.

Pay & shifts

• Agency pay rates: $46.50 - $102.90 per hour
• AM, PM and night shifts available 7 days a week
• Weekday and weekend shifts across multiple partnered aged care facilities

What you’ll need

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), Aged Care or equivalent
• Minimum 6 months' paid Australian aged care experience as a PCA
• Current National Police Check (or NDIS Worker Screening Check)
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates
• Up-to-date COVID-19 and seasonal influenza vaccinations
• Right to work in Australia
• Reliable transport and a current driver's licence
