Job summary

St Vincent’s Care Maroochydore on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast seeks a Living Support Partner (Personal Care Assistant) to join a caring team in a modern aged care community. You will deliver direct care, assist residents with daily living tasks and work within a household to promote safety, dignity and engagement.

The role requires Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, night-shift availability, 6+ months’ residential aged care experience, excellent service and communication skills, and NDIS screening

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care or equivalent.
• Night shift experience is preferred and required for weekday night shifts.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• 6+ months of residential aged care experience, dementia care is highly regarded.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check is mandatory.

As a Living Support Partner (Personal Care Assistant), you will join a dedicated team committed to providing compassionate, person-centred care to residents at St Vincent’s Care Maroochydore.

Things that work for us:

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential

Availability for weekday night shifts and demonstrated experience working night shifts.

6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience (dementia experience) highly regarded

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records

Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan

NDIS Worker Screening Check is mandatory
