Job summary

365 Care in Australia is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to assist a client in Blackheath. You'll apply knowledge of Acquired Brain Injuries, schizophrenia, and support while working Monday to Friday to promote independence and engagement.

You'll be part of a warm, supportive team with paid training and after-hours care coordination support, plus a referral bonus program and meaningful, community-focused care.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check and WWCC required.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and own insured car.
• Willingness to complete client-specific training before you begin.

Responsibilities

• Get out into the community to do activities the clients enjoy.
• Provide transport and mobility assistance.
• Help with light cleaning around the home when needed.
• Assist with medication management.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Disability Support Worker to support one of our clients in Blackheath.

You’ll bring your experience and knowledge in Acquired Brain Injuries, schizophrenia & supporting Monday to Friday.

In this role, you’ll need to be assertive and calm under pressure, while also being encouraging and understanding. A strong listener who is able to prompt and promote independence and engagement, you’ll be a key part of helping them live an independent and fulfilling life.

No two days are the same! Your support might look like:

• Getting out into the community to do activities the clients enjoy
• Providing transport and mobility assistance
• Helping out with a few light cleaning jobs around the home when needed
• Assist with medication management

• Willingness to complete all client-specific training before you begin (we’ll guide you through it)
