Job summary

365 Care is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to assist a client in Blackheath, NSW. You’ll apply your knowledge of acquired brain injuries and schizophrenia to support daily living, independence, and engagement.

The role runs Monday to Friday, four hours per day, with a supportive team and ongoing training. Ideal candidates hold an NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC, First Aid/CPR, and a valid driver’s license with a reliable car.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check and WWCC required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and own insured car required.
• Willingness to complete client-specific training before you begin.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Disability Support Worker to support one of our clients in Blackheath.

You'll bring your experience and knowledge in Acquired Brain Injuries, schizophrenia & supporting Monday to Friday.

In this role, you’ll need to be assertive and calm under pressure, while also being encouraging and understanding. A strong listener who is able to prompt and promote independence and engagement, you’ll be a key part of helping them live an independent and fulfilling life.

No two days are the same! Your support might look like:

• Getting out into the community to do activities the clients enjoy
• Providing transport and mobility assistance
• Helping out with a few light cleaning jobs around the home when needed
• Assist with medication management

What You’ll Need
