Westpac in Shepparton, VIC, is hiring a part-time Personal Banking Advisor to welcome customers and offer tailored banking solutions in person and over the phone. You will help clients achieve their financial goals while maintaining strong service standards in a friendly branch environment.

As a Personal Banking Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of our branch network, welcoming our customers to Westpac and engaging in meaningful conversations to uncover their needs and provide them with tailored banking solutions. You will utilise your product knowledge to assist customers in achieving their financial goals – both in-person and over the phone – and referring them on to our specialised Banking teams when necessary. This is a rewarding role which will see your dedication and expertise empower customers to make the most of their money, each and every day!

This is a part-time, branch-based role of 30.4 hours per week from 9am – 5pm approx. across days to be agreed upon with the successful candidate!

What do I need?

• Customer service and sales experience,ideally in a customer-facing / phone-based role withexperience of working to targets


• Resilience, with an ability to remain calm and composed whilst managing challenging situations


• Comfortable in working towards sales / referral targets and calling customers over the phone


• Numerical capability, ideally with proficiency in cash handling and counting, with ability to complete financial transactions with accuracy


• An energetic personality coupled with a genuine passion for helping people!


• The will to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies
