Job summary

Westpac Bank Geelong seeks a Personal Banker to engage with customers in-person and on the phone to uncover financial needs and guide them to suitable products. You will refer clients to specialist banking teams and coach them on digital banking offerings, while achieving sales and referral KPIs.

This full-time, branch-based role operates Monday to Friday with training and development provided to support your career growth in banking.

What's the role?

As a Personal Banker with Westpac, you will proactively engage with customers in-person and over the phone to uncover their financial needs, utilisingyour expert product knowledge to assist them in achieving their financial goals.You willrefer customers to our specialist banking teams such as Home Loans and Business Banking, as well as coach customers on our digital banking offerings.Thisrewardingrole blends sales and customer service and holds accountability for sales and referral targets - all with an uncompromising commitment to empoweringourcustomers to make the most of their money!

This is a full-time, branch-based role and the hours are across and inclusive of Monday to Friday.

What do I need?

• Banking experience is ideal, but not essential - your high-performer energy and unique ability to gauge and nurture strong customer relationships will be key to driving your success
• Strong experience in a customer-facing / phone-based sales role
• Resilience, tenacity, and an ability to flex - no two days and no two customers are ever the same!
• Proven experience of achieving performance KPIs with an uncompromising commitment to delivering an exceptional customer service
• Comfortable when working with numbers and adept at navigating multiple systems
