Job summary

St Vincent’s Health Australia is seeking a proactive Personal Assistant in Fitzroy, Melbourne to support the Director of Pathology and the Pathology Operations Manager while contributing to a range of pathology projects.

You will attend and schedule meetings, take minutes, coordinate events and assist with evaluating software, centre viability, and system integrations, with extensive development opportunities and excellent benefits.

About the Role

This isn’t just any Personal Assistant role. While you can expect to provide administrative support as expected of a Personal Assistant, you can also work on an array of exciting projects for the Pathology unit, which may include assisting with investigating the viability of opening new medical centres, assisting with evaluating software to manage for the Pathology fleet of vehicles or assisting with integrating our laboratory system with other systems. In addition to having input on these projects, you’ll primarily be providing support to the Director of Pathology and Pathology Operations Manager. With a keen interest in your development, they’ll be providing you with exposure to the many facets of Pathology. The Administrative support you will provide might include attending and scheduling meetings, minute taking and coordinating events.

Classifications for this position will range from $69,439- $76,764 per annum + superannuation.

About Pathology

St Vincent’s Pathology provides diagnostic testing to both inpatients of St Vincent’s Private Hospitals located in Fitzroy, East Melbourne and Kew, St Vincent’s Public Hospital Fitzroy as well as servicing privately referred patients from over Pathology Collection Centres located across Metropolitan Melbourne. St Vincent’s Pathology is a member of a multidisciplinary health care team which delivers care in a patient focused manner.
