St Vincent’s Health Australia is seeking a Clinical Competency Program Practice Development Nurse to facilitate health service wide competency programs and provide educational opportunities for clinicians. The Clinical Competency Program Practice Development Nurse is responsible for facilitating health service wide Clinical Competency Programs to ensure best practice by providing educational opportunities for clinicians. This will be achieved by developing, facilitating and evaluating competency activities using the principles of evidenced based practice to improve the delivery of patient care.
Classification for this position will be RN35 ($128,102 per annum pro rata).
St Vincent’s provides extensive Education and Learning support and services to staff and students across the health service. The educational team members are based across multiple campuses including Fitzroy, St George’s Hospital Kew, St Vincent’s on the Park East Melbourne, Caritas Christi Hospice Kew and Port Phillip Prison. This position will primarily be based at St Vincent’s campus in Fitzroy with the expectation of travel to other campuses and health services as required.
