Job summary

Albury Wodonga Health is seeking a Psychologist to join the Persistent Pain Service in Wodonga. The role supports education and treatment for patients with persistent pain through multidisciplinary programs, including residential, outpatient, and virtual formats.

The successful candidate will assess psychosocial factors, provide psycho-education, and work within a team to improve patient self-management and outcomes. Closing date 08/11/2026; part-time 24 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Registration with AHPRA as a psychologist or provisional psychologist.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• For provisional psychologists, an identified supervisor in place.

Responsibilities

• Assess psychosocial factors contributing to persistent pain patients' pain experience and readiness for intensive programs.
• Provide psycho-education to enable patients to improve self-management and treatment of their pain.
