Job summary

Albury Wodonga Health is seeking a Psychologist to join our Persistent Pain Service in Wodonga on a part-time basis.

You will assess psychosocial factors contributing to persistent pain, provide psycho-education, and work within a multidisciplinary team to support patient self-management.

Qualifications

• Registration with AHPRA as a psychologist/provisional psychologist.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• In the case of provisional psychologists, primary or secondary supervisor in place.

Responsibilities

• Assessment of psychosocial factors contributing to persistent pain and suitability for intensive programs.
• Psycho-education to enable self-management of pain.
