Job summary

Murrumbidgee Local Health District Chronic Pain Service is seeking a hardworking psychologist with an interest in chronic pain management to join our team. The successful applicant will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care to our consumers through both individual and group therapy.

The role allows for virtual care for clinicians within MLHD. Open to seasoned Clinical Psychologists or those pursuing this pathway, offering meaningful impact, flexible work arrangements,

Qualifications

• Registered Psychologist with Psychology Board of Australia with either Clinical Psychology endorsement or strong interest in Chronic Pain.
• Ability to apply theoretical knowledge to evidence-based assessment and treatment.
• Capacity to lead within a multidisciplinary team and collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based care to consumers through individual and group therapy.
• Work with multidisciplinary team including nurse practitioner, pain specialist, physiotherapist and admin support.
• Deliver care via in-person and open to virtual care for eligible clinicians within MLHD.
