Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking a Senior Site Planner for a regional NSW project. The role will own the detailed construction and installation schedule across electrical and mechanical scopes, reporting progress and risks to the site team.

You will manage a 14/7 roster, build the site baseline in Primavera P6, and drive schedule recovery where required on a flagship power generation project. Permanent roles with long-term pipeline offered.

Qualifications

• Advanced Primavera P6 experience is essential.
• 10+ years’ experience in project planning/scheduling.
• Experience on major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, critical path and schedule recovery.
• Experience across energy, power generation, resources, oil & gas or similar complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the detailed site baseline schedule in Primavera P6.
• Manage scheduling across the complete electrical and mechanical installation scope.
• Maintain alignment between the site schedule, master schedule and actual construction progress.
• Monitor critical path, milestones and project interfaces.
• Identify schedule deviations and develop mitigation and recovery plans.
• Analyse acceleration opportunities to protect key construction and commissioning milestones.
• Incorporate subcontractor schedules and assess progress against plan.
• Deliver rolling look-ahead planning with the site team.
• Provide clear reporting on progress, risks and upcoming milestones.
