Job summary

Boral is seeking a dedicated Plant Operator to join the Shadforth Quarry Team on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will ensure safe and efficient operation of mobile and fixed plant, with duties spanning front-end loader use, crusher operation, basic maintenance and housekeeping.

You will actively participate in problem solving, continuous improvement and safety initiatives, including pre-starts and incident reporting, while working closely with a team and adhering to safety and quality

Qualifications

• Quarry experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work well within a team with minimal supervision.
• Available to work Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant such as front-end loader and other quarry equipment.
• Safely run fixed and mobile crushing plant.
• Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping of plant.
• Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
• Support safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolbox talks and incident reporting.
