Job summary

Boral is seeking a dedicated Plant Operator for our Montrose Quarry in Victoria. You will operate mobile quarry equipment, manage stockpiling, and support crushing and processing operations while helping maintain plant reliability and safety.

This permanent, full-time role offers mentoring from industry leaders, ongoing training, a competitive hourly rate with overtime and allowances, and the chance to contribute to a diverse team in a respected Australian business.

Qualifications

• HR license is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in manufacturing, mechanical or quarry operations will be highly regarded.
• Ability to safely and effectively carry out multiple roles in an operational environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and the environment.
• Availability and commitment to work Monday to Saturday essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate tipper truck for stockpiling operations.
• Safely operate crushing & processing plant.
• Basic servicing and maintenance of plant & equipment.
• Identify and respond to problems, breakdowns and changes in routine.
• Participate in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolbox talks and incident reporting.
• Contribute to problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
• Work as a self-starter with minimal supervision.
