Job summary

X-Golf Maroochydore is seeking a motivated, reliable team member for a permanent part-time role (minimum 20 hours per week). You will work closely with the Venue Manager to ensure smooth operations, high standards, and an outstanding customer experience in a unique indoor golf and entertainment venue.

Ideal candidates have hospitality or venue experience, strong customer service skills, and are comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or venue operations.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Hold a current RSA or be willing to obtain one.

Job description

X-Golf Maroochydore is looking for a motivated, reliable and customer-focused team member to join the team in a permanent part time capacity. Working a minimum of 20 hours per week across the working week, you will play an important role in ensuring the venue is operating efficiently, maintaining high standards and delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will work closely with and report directly to the Venue Manager while assisting senior management with the overall operation of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Opening and closing the venue
• Ensuring the venue is clean, organised and presented to a high standard
• Ensuring daily operational procedures are followed
• Assisting with the smooth running of competitions, events, functions and corporate days
• Supporting the Venue Manager and senior management with day to day operations
• Identifying operational issues and assisting with solutions
• Overseeing day to day food and beverage operations
• Maintaining high standards of food, beverage and bar service
• Assisting with bar management and maintaining appropriate stock levels
• Ensuring RSA and responsible service procedures are followed

About you

• Have previous hospitality, bar or venue experience
• Have strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Are confident working independently and taking responsibility
• Have excellent organisation and time management skills
• Have an understanding of stock control and food & beverage operations
• Are comfortable working in a fast paced and social environment
• Have strong attention to detail and high personal standards
• Are confident communicating with suppliers, staff and customers
• Hold a current RSA or are willing to obtain one
• Are available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and closing shifts
