Job summary

Journey Early Learning Fernvale is seeking a warm, dedicated Permanent Educator to support children across their learning and development with play-based experiences aligned to the EYLF.

In this role you’ll build meaningful relationships with children and families, contribute to daily routines and learning experiences, and work with a supportive team in our close-knit, community-focused centre across Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Completed National Child Safety Training.
• Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Warm, caring and relationship-focused approach.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Reliable, positive and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support engaging, play-based learning aligned with the EYLF.
• Create safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environments.
• Support children’s individual learning, development and wellbeing.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families.
• Contribute to observations, planning and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with educators and the Centre Leadership Team.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and care.
