Journey Early Learning Fernvale is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children's learning, wellbeing and development.

You will work to create a high-quality learning environment, build strong relationships with children and families, and collaborate with educators and the Centre Leadership Team.

Qualifications

  • ACECQA-approved qualification required.
  • National Child Safety Training (GECKO) completed.
  • Experience delivering Kindergarten or school readiness programs.
  • Strong understanding of EYLF and transitions to school.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver a high-quality program aligned with EYLF.
  • Create engaging experiences fostering curiosity, confidence and independence.
  • Observe, document and reflect on children's learning and development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families and community.
  • Collaborate with educators to maintain consistent learning environments.
  • Support wellbeing and development through intentional teaching.
  • Maintain high safety, compliance and safeguarding standards.

Early Childhood Teacher | Fernvale
Full time | 38 hours per week

About the Role

Journey Early Learning Fernvale is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children's learning, wellbeing and development.

As our ECT, you'll create a high-quality learning environment where children feel confident, capable and connected, while building strong relationships with children and families and working collaboratively with educators and the Centre Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver a high-quality program aligned with the EYLF
  • Create engaging learning experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence and independence
  • Observe, document and reflect on children’s learning and development
  • Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider community
  • Work collaboratively with educators to create a consistent learning environment
  • Support children’s wellbeing, learning and development through intentional teaching
  • Maintain high standards of safety, compliance and safeguarding
About You
  • ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teacher qualification
  • Completed National Child Safety Training (GECKO)
  • Experience delivering a Kindergarten or school readiness program
  • Strong understanding of the EYLF and transition-to-school practices
  • Warm, nurturing, and relationship-focused teaching style
  • Strong communication and family engagement skills
  • Passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences
  • Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
