Job summary

Lismore City Council is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join its Water and Wastewater team. You will deliver safe, efficient electrical services across critical infrastructure, maintaining and installing electrical systems, instrumentation and control technologies essential to service delivery.

The role requires a Certificate III in Electrotechnology, NSW Electrical Contractors Licence, a Class C License and a White Card, with flexible nine-day fortnights and pathways for development.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician is essential.
• Current NSW Electrical Contractors Licence is required.
• Class C Driver's Licence and White Card are mandatory.
• Experience with SCADA, telemetry and control systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, repairs and installations across water-related infrastructure.
• Operate and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems including SCADA and PLCs.
• Undertake preventative maintenance and respond to faults to maintain service continuity.
• Plan daily tasks, coordinate with supervisors and ensure safety standards.
