Job summary

Griffith City Council is seeking a qualified industrial electrician to support water and wastewater operations. The role focuses on electrical motors, control equipment and SCADA systems, with fault-finding and troubleshooting at the core.

You will be responsible for developing specialist knowledge in instrumentation and process control, working independently with minimal supervision, and participating in an on-call roster as required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electro technology - Electrician required.
• Qualified Supervisors Certificate – Electrician.
• Australian Class C driver licence required.

Responsibilities

• Apply electrical trade expertise in industrial automation, telemetry, instrumentation, process control and SCADA systems.
• Support Griffith City Council's water and wastewater operations.
• Develop specialist knowledge and contribute to reliability and safety of critical infrastructure.
