Gladstone Regional Council in Gladstone QLD is seeking a permanent full-time Electrician to contribute to Council's success. The role covers preventive maintenance, fault finding, construction projects, telemetry systems, pumping stations, treatment facilities and high-voltage equipment.

You will work in a hands-on environment within the Water Program Delivery areas, with on-call duties, on-call roster earning extra leave, and benefits including PPE, iPad, iPhone and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Trade Certificate (Electrical) with a Queensland license class Electrical Fitter/Mechanic.
• Shall not be colour blind.
• Knowledge of Electrical Safety Act 2002 and Electrical Safety Regulation 2002.
• Experience reading and interpreting plans, charts and instructions.
• Work outside normal hours as part of the on-call roster.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team and independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient keyboard skills and use of corporate systems.
• Current White Card (Construction)
• Licensed to drive in Queensland.
