Job summary

The position offers a permanent full-time contract, a base salary of 58,381 AUD per year with increments to 66,165 AUD plus 12% super, a 76-hour, 9 day fortnight, and development opportunities to advance your skills in

Qualifications

• Year 10 level numeracy and literacy.
• Ability to read plans and take-off quantities.
• Current Class C driver licence.
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card).

Responsibilities

• Carry out advanced concreting duties along with general labouring tasks across construction and maintenance projects.
• Work on roads, bridges, stormwater drainage, footpaths, kerb and guttering, water and sewer pipelines.
• Apply technical knowledge to select correct materials per Australian Standards and regulations.
• Operate safely and efficiently across Council worksites.
• Participate in team meetings to support a collaborative, safe and productive environment.
