Tweed Shire Council, based in Murwillumbah, NSW, is seeking a concreting labourer to join a permanent full-time team. You will perform advanced concreting and a range of general labouring tasks across diverse civil projects, adhering to Australian Standards and safety practices.

The role offers a base salary of $58,381–$66,165 per year plus 12% super, 76-hour fortnight, training opportunities, and flexible work options for work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Strong numeracy and literacy skills consistent with Year 10 level.
• Ability to read plans and accurately take off quantities.
• Proven ability to apply practical skills across construction and maintenance activities.
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Carry out advanced concreting duties along with general labouring tasks across construction and maintenance projects.
• Work on civil works including roads, bridges, stormwater drainage, footpaths, kerb and guttering, pipelines.
• Apply technical knowledge to identify and use correct materials per Australian Standards.
• Operate safely, efficiently and environmentally across all worksites.
• Participate in team meetings to support a collaborative environment.
