Job summary

Epworth HealthCare in Melbourne is seeking experienced Scrub/Scout Registered Nurses for permanent full-time and part-time roles across multiple surgical specialties, including General Surgery, Plastics, ENT and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. You will deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to a safe, patient-centred theatre environment.

Applicants must have current AHPRA registration and Scrub Scout experience.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration is required.
• Experience as Scrub Scout is essential.
• Experience in General, Plastics, ENT or oral maxillofacial surgery essential.
• Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care in a busy theatre.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient-centred care.
• Assess, plan and evaluate nursing care to optimise outcomes.
• Maintain high clinical standards and a culture of safety.
• Support efficient theatre operations and continuous improvement.
