Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District is seeking a registered nurse with operating theatre experience to join Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital as a scrub/scout RN. You will deliver high-quality perioperative care, support a collaborative theatre team, and promote patient safety while contributing to education and quality improvement.

This role offers permanent and temporary hours, with a competitive salary of AUD 81,748.17 to AUD 114,771.98 per year plus 12% superannuation and salary packaging.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration and recent clinical operating theatre experience.
• Working With Children Check (WWCC) may be required.
• Knowledge of NSW Health Policy Directives and ACORN Standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide scrub and scout nursing care in the perioperative theatre.
• Maintain infection prevention and patient safety standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement, education and best-practice nursing.
