Job summary
Carejobz Perioperative Specialists in Warragul, VIC is seeking a Theatre & Day Surgery Leader (Nurse Manager) to deliver operational and clinical leadership across Theatre, Day Surgery, Anaesthetics and PACU/Recovery. You will work with surgeons, anaesthetists and the multidisciplinary team to drive patient-centred care, governance and service improvement, while developing staff and shaping the perioperative program.
Permanent, full-time role with NM11 at $71.91/hour (approx.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA in Australia.
- Experience in Theatre or perioperative services is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational and clinical leadership across Theatre, Day Surgery, Anaesthetics and PACU/Recovery
- Work with surgeons, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred care
- Oversee workforce planning, clinical governance, quality improvement and service development
- Lead day-to-day operations across perioperative services
- Influence the future direction of perioperative services and lead service improvements
- Develop staff capability and build a team culture focused on safety, collaboration and continuous improvement
