Job summary

Department of Education Victoria is seeking a fixed-term Classroom Teacher for Performing Arts (0.6 FTE) at Riddells Creek Primary School. The role focuses on planning, preparing and delivering Performing Arts programs to diverse learners while contributing to school improvement and student engagement.

You will work under guidance with opportunity to mentor, assess student progress, and collaborate with staff and families to support wellbeing and achievement.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals in Performing Arts.
• Contribute to curriculum development and evaluation within the school.
• Undertake other classroom and organisational duties as required by leadership.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Fulfil non-teaching supervisory duties as needed.
