Job summary

Riddells Creek Primary School in Victoria is seeking an experienced Classroom Teacher for Range 1 and 2 roles. You will plan and teach engaging programs across year levels to improve student outcomes, with embedded opportunities for professional learning and school-wide collaboration.

You will work within a supportive leadership team to implement high-quality teaching practices, assess student progress, and contribute to school priorities while building positive relationships with students,

Qualifications

• Must hold provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Postgraduate initial teacher education program accreditation as satisfying the Standards of Australian teacher education programs.
• LANTITE literacy and numeracy requirements (if applicable to the program completed).

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum areas.
• Undertake other classroom teaching and organisational duties as directed by the School Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
