Job summary

Eucalyptus is seeking a fast, prolific video editor in Australia. You’ll cut content for paid social across Meta, TikTok, YouTube and more, with a sharp eye for what converts.

The role includes shooting on studio days and on smaller shoots, collaborating with an in‑house team to move quickly while sustaining craft. Reporting to the Senior Producer, you’ll own end‑to‑end post‑production, tailor cuts to each platform, and collaborate with data and performance teams to improve results.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years editing experience in-house, agency, or freelance with a reel showing range and performance-driven content.
• Reel demonstrating ability to edit for performance across paid social.
• Stack-agnostic and outcome-focused—adapt to project needs without bias toward tools.

Responsibilities

• Editing for performance: end-to-end post, including sound, colour, captions, motion, and exports for high-volume paid social.
• Shooting alongside the team: studio days and smaller solo shoots when brief calls for it.
• BTS and social shooter: capture quick lo‑fi ideas, genuine reactions, and on-trend angles.
• Cutting native to platform: tailor edits for each platform’s best practices from frame one.
• Working with the data: partner with Performance and Social teams to understand conversions and iterate accordingly.
• Communicating clearly: provide status updates, flag blockers early, and enable fast progress for the team.
• Bringing ideas, not just execution: contribute creative thinking to briefs, references, and problem-solving.
