Job summary

Strategy + Scale, a construction coaching business for commercial owners, is seeking a Performance Coach to own client relationships from onboarding onward and drive results across five levers: Pre-construction, Delivery, People, Systems, and Safety & Risk.

You’ll run group and 1:1 coaching sessions with construction business owners, facilitate strategy workshops, stay closely engaged between sessions, and help set the coaching standard as the team grows.

Who we are

Strategy + Scale is a construction coaching business for commercial business owners.

Before this, I was a Director and part-owner of a construction company that grew from $8M to $160M in revenue. That's where everything we teach comes from. Not theory. Real decisions, real sites, real money.

I started Strategy + Scale in Feb 2025 and did close to $2.8M in year one. From here, the plan is $30M in five years and owning this market in Australia. It's mapped out, and we're already moving.

Here's where you come in

Every construction business owner who comes through our door needs someone who picks them up straight after onboarding and actually drives them through the program. Holds them accountable. Pushes them. That's the role. Performance Coach.

Why this matters

You're the first real relationship these business owners build with us once they're in. You're the one who decides whether they get results, whether they stick around, whether they become the next person telling their mates to join.

You're not just coaching. As we bring more coaches on, you'll be setting the standard for how it's done here.

What you'll be doing

Take ownership of client relationships from the moment onboarding ends, driving them through the five levers: Pre-construction, Delivery, People, Systems, and Safety & Risk.

Run group and 1:1 coaching sessions with construction business owners.

Facilitate strategy workshops with business owners and their teams.

Stay close to your clients between sessions, keeping them engaged and accountable.

Be the benchmark for how we coach as the coaching team grows.

Work closely with me and our Head of Operations as we build this together.

What I'm looking for

You've worked in the trade on the tools, running jobs, or leading a construction business and you know what it actually takes to run one.

You can coach, hold people accountable, ask the hard questions, and not let them off the hook.

You want ownership. This role won't look the same in twelve months as it does today, and if that scares you, this isn't for you.

Where you'll work

This role is hybrid. Preferred location is Brisbane or the Gold Coast (where our Head Office is based), but open to candidates in any Australian capital city. Regular travel to Brisbane/Gold Coast for client work is expected - happy to discuss frequency depending on where you're based.
