Healthdirect is seeking a proactive People Systems and Operations Analyst to join the People & Culture team in Sydney. The role blends technical HRIS administration with process transformation and practical AI/workflow automation to modernise service delivery.

Based in Sydney with a 2 days in-office, 3 days remote hybrid arrangement, you will manage Dayforce, Acorn and SuccessFactors, drive data integrity, analytics, and uplift user adoption across the organisation.

We’re partnering with a purpose-driven digital healthcare organisation, seeking an innovative and technically minded People Systems and Operations Analyst to join their People & Culture team based in Sydney (hybrid: 2 days in office, 3 days remote).

This is an exciting opportunity to act as the primary HRIS expert, lead high-impact automation and AI initiatives, and modernise how P&C services are delivered across a vital national organisation.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, you will be responsible for the configuration, integration, and continuous optimisation of Healthdirect’s people systems, including Dayforce, Acorn, and SuccessFactors.

This is a role with a true mix of technical system administration and innovative process transformation. As Healthdirect continues to enhance its digital service delivery, someone who is proactive, comfortable redesigning processes, and eager to implement practical AI and workflow automation will be an ideal candidate.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Process, AI & Automation: Redesign core P&C processes across the employee lifecycle. Build and maintain AI and automation solutions (including AI agents, automated workflows, and Power Platform apps) to eliminate manual effort and streamline onboarding/offboarding.
• HR Systems Administration: Serve as the lead administrator for Dayforce, Acorn, and SuccessFactors. Oversee system configuration, security permissions, release testing, vendor coordination, and routine platform maintenance.
• Systems Integration & Optimisation: Connect enterprise HR platforms to enable seamless data flows and reduce duplicate handling. Partner with Corporate IT to optimise Jira service ticketing workflows, SLAs, and automations for P&C requests.
• Data Integrity & Insights: Conduct regular data audits to ensure high data accuracy across all platforms, supporting seamless payroll handoffs, compliance reporting, and actionable workforce analytics.
• User Support & Enablement: Provide responsive level-2/3 technical troubleshooting, create intuitive user guides and FAQs, and upskill employees and leaders to drive high system adoption.

About You

You are a technically savvy HR systems specialist who excels at solving problems, streamlining workflows, and leveraging technology to deliver exceptional employee experiences. You bring hands-on experience administering enterprise HRIS platforms (e.g., Dayforce, SuccessFactors, or similar) paired with strong analytical capabilities and an eye for data integrity.
