Job summary

Office of Sport NSW is seeking a People Partner to collaborate with leaders to build the workforce, capability and culture to deliver sport and active recreation outcomes across NSW. You will strengthen leadership capability through coaching, workforce insights and talent development.

Working across the People & Culture team, you will help ensure the office has the capacity and leadership to respond to current priorities and future workforce needs, while promoting an inclusive, high-performing

Qualifications

• Experience in a business partnering, HR or People & Culture role.
• Capability across workforce planning, performance management, employee relations and organisational change.
• Experience coaching people leaders through performance, capability and workplace issues.
• Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Sound judgement and the ability to navigate complex and sensitive matters.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to build the workforce, capability and culture needed to deliver sport and active recreation outcomes across NSW.
• Strengthen leadership capability by helping leaders make informed workforce decisions, manage performance, develop talent and confidently navigate complex people matters.
• Through coaching, advice and workforce insights, support leaders to address challenges early, build engaged and capable teams, and create workplaces where people feel they belong, are valued and can perform at their best.
• Work collaboratively across People & Culture to ensure the office has the capacity, capability and leadership needed to respond to current priorities, future workforce needs and organisational change.
