Job summary

Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer is seeking a People Operations Coordinator to join our national People Operations team in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney on a maximum six-month term contract. You will deliver high-quality support across the employee lifecycle, leveraging digital tools and data insights to enhance service delivery and processes.

You will work with IT, Payroll, Finance and other teams to ensure smooth data flow, support wellbeing initiatives, and generate reports to assist

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in HR coordination or administration.
• Experience with Workday is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee lifecycle events including onboarding, movements, parental leave, and departures.
• Maintain accurate employee data in Workday and manage HR processes.
• Create and maintain standard employee documentation such as contracts and pre-employment checks.
• Coordinate induction sessions and onboarding materials.
• Generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Support audit and regulatory activities and escalate risks as needed.
