Do you enjoy delivering exceptional customer service and helping people navigate important career moments? Are you looking for a role where you can build relationships, provide trusted advice, and contribute to positive employee experiences?

Queensland Parliament is seeking two customer-focused and highly organised P&C Support Officers to join our People and Culture team. Opportunities are available across two streams: Talent Acquisition and Workforce Programs.

As a key point of contact for managers, candidates and employees, you will deliver responsive and professional support across a range of people and culture activities. Whether supporting recruitment and onboarding in the Talent Acquisition stream or supporting organisational development programs and initiatives in the Workforce Programs stream, you will play an important role in delivering quality services that support our people and organisation.

Key Objectives
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and workforce support to internal and external clients.
  • Coordinate people and culture activities that create positive employee and candidate experiences.
  • Deliver accurate workforce administration, data management and reporting services that support informed decision-making.
Your Role
  • Be the go-to person for workforce enquiries, delivering exceptional service and practical support to managers, employees and candidates.
  • Help shape the employee journey, from attracting talented candidates through end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, to supporting employee development and engagement.
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, employment screening, preparing offers, onboarding and maintaining accurate recruitment records.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide advice that inspires confidence and trust.
  • Support workforce programs and initiatives that enhance employee capability, engagement and organisational performance.
  • Drive efficient and effective people processes through strong administration, attention to detail and the smart use of technology.
  • Contribute ideas and improvements that make it easier for people to access and engage with People and Culture services.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, correspondence and workforce resources that support informed decision-making.
  • Play an important role in creating a positive workplace culture and employee experience across Queensland Parliament.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in recruitment, human resources, customer service, administration or a related environment.
  • A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and positive stakeholder experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, credibility and productive working relationships.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence learning new systems and technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and deliver quality outcomes within tight timeframes.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement when handling sensitive information.
  • Qualifications in administration, human resources or a related discipline are highly desirable.
What We Offer

At Queensland Parliament you'll see democracy in action. You'll collaborate with talented colleagues across disciplines, contribute to projects that matter, and build a career you're proud of, supported by leadership, mentoring and wellbeing initiatives.
