Job summary

Morgan Consulting in Melbourne is seeking a People & Culture Advisor to own the P&C presence for the Melbourne studio, partnering with 10–12 Directors and the Head of People & Culture.

The role is roughly 60% advisory and 40% operational, giving you autonomy to coach leaders while rolling up your sleeves in day-to-day HR activity and governance. There is one regular work-from-home day per week with flexibility where required.

Qualifications

• Strong generalist HR/P&C experience at Advisor or Senior Advisor level.
• Experience partnering with managers and senior leaders.
• Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards.
• Hands-on employee relations and performance management.
• Experience across the broader employee lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proactive, solutions-focused with data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Directors and leaders on people matters.
• Coach leaders and build leadership capability.
• Advise on employee relations, performance, conduct and grievances.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding and lifecycle processes.
• Run probation and performance review cycles.
• Support workforce planning, wellbeing initiatives and remuneration reviews.
• Develop Power BI dashboards to identify trends.
