Job summary

BW Offshore in Darwin is seeking a People & Culture Manager to lead the local P&C function and partner with offshore and onshore leaders to deliver safe, compliant and high-performing people solutions.

The role oversees end-to-end employee lifecycle, labour relations, recruitment strategy, policy development, and KPI reporting, with travel to offshore locations and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM or Business Administration.
• Professional HR qualification preferred but not essential.
• Experience in an operational or offshore environment.
• Experience working with unionised workforce and collective agreements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Partner with offshore and onshore leaders to translate priorities into people solutions.
• Provide early visibility of workforce and IR issues to asset management and P&C leadership.
• Manage ER/IR matters from initiation to resolution, including disciplinary and Speak-Up cases.
• Ensure Australian employment law compliance and advise leadership.
• Lead and develop the local P&C team.
• Support recruitment strategy and relationships with agencies.
• Provide P&C expertise across the employee lifecycle.
• Oversee mobilisation/demobilisation for offshore and international personnel.
• Develop local P&C policies aligned to global frameworks and diversity goals.
• Deliver P&C KPIs, dashboards and management reports.
