Job summary

IKEA Australia is seeking a People & Culture Generalist to support co-workers and leaders across a broad range of HR activities. This on-site role at the Tempe NSW service office focuses on onboarding, records management, payroll inquiries, and policy guidance to sustain a positive, compliant workplace.

You will work closely with the People & Culture Business Partner and wider team, managing learning, reporting and project work to continually improve the co-worker experience throughout the

Qualifications

• Experience in Human Resources or a similar role supporting people processes across the employee lifecycle is highly regarded.
• Degree qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of People & Culture processes and activities to ensure a positive and seamless co-worker experience across the business.
• Executing operational People tasks related to the co-worker lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee records management.
• Responding to People & Culture, timekeeping and payroll-related enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Administering key people processes including parental leave, mandatory learning requirements, employment changes and other People & Culture administration activities.
• Delivering and coordinating learning and training activities at unit level, including scheduling, administration and record maintenance.
• Coordinating and administering Workers Compensation and other people-related case management activities in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
• Providing guidance and support to leaders and co-workers on People & Culture policies, procedures and systems.
• Maintaining accurate people data, reporting and documentation while ensuring compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.
• Supporting the implementation of People & Culture initiatives and projects that contribute to an inclusive, engaging and positive workplace culture.
• Identifying opportunities to continuously improve ways of working and enhance the co-worker experience.
