Job description

At ForHealth, we’re committed to delivering quality, accessible healthcare across Australia. With 100+ medical centres and a network of 1800+ independent practitioners, we provide 7+ million patient consultations annually. As part of the ForHealth Group, we’re focused on innovation, culture, and exceptional patient care.

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to support our teams across a multi-state portfolio covering Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. You’ll champion a positive, inclusive and high-performance culture that supports our people and patient care. This is a full-time contract based at our Melbourne office in South Yarra.

As a trusted advisor to leaders, you’ll provide practical guidance across employee relations, performance management, retention, development and engagement. Working collaboratively with operational leaders and People & Culture colleagues, you’ll translate our strategy into priorities for your portfolio and lead people-focused projects that strengthen culture, employee experience and business outcomes across these three states.

This hands-on role requires you to take ownership of people matters, act on agreed next steps and work with leaders and employees through to fair, timely and practical resolution. It suits someone who builds collaborative relationships, confidently influences stakeholders and adapts to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Interstate travel is required from time to time.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Championing a positive, inclusive culture through initiatives that improve employee experience, engagement and recognition.
  • Leading people-focused projects from planning through to implementation and evaluation, working with stakeholders to deliver improvements in people practices and employee experience.
  • Partnering with P&C colleagues and operational leaders to deliver coordinated, practical people solutions.
  • Coaching leaders to build leadership capability, support effective team performance and guide employees through organisational change.
  • Advising on complex employee relations matters, policy and compliance.
  • Using people data and business insights to support workforce planning and identify opportunities to improve retention and engagement.

What You’ll Bring

  • A collaborative approach: you share knowledge, support colleagues and contribute to shared team outcomes.
  • Experience leading people-focused projects, translating ideas into practical actions and following through on delivery.
  • An adaptable, considered approach to changing priorities, balancing business needs with a positive employee experience.
  • Proven experience in a People & Culture Business Partner or comparable senior generalist role within a large, complex organisation, with sound working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and applicable industrial instruments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations matters, including investigations, performance, conduct and grievances.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Sound judgement and a proactive approach to prioritising work and driving continuous improvement.
  • Experience in healthcare or other regulated sectors (e.g. aged care, allied health) is desirable.
  • 20% off dental treatments for you and your family.
  • Fitness Passport – discounted gym access.
  • Novated leasing options for your vehicle.
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Program.

Join a company that invests in its people and is committed to building a healthier Australia.

ForHealth Group is committed to diversity and inclusion and welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds. We foster a safe, respectful and inclusive organisational culture, guided by our values and a commitment to eliminating unlawful behaviour.
