Job summary

Ku-ring-gai Council is looking for a HR professional to support managers with HR best practices, policies, and projects across the organisation. You will provide strategic advice on ER/IR matters, engage with external parties, and contribute to reporting and policy development.

The role requires a degree in HR/psychology/business or substantial relevant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team. WFH options and flexible arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, Psychology, Business or related field, or significant relevant experience.
• Ability to interpret Federal, State and Local legislation in Local Government context.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver HR transactional tasks effectively.
• Provide internal advice and coaching on ER/IR matters to staff and managers.
• Liaise with LGNSW and Unions on ER/IR issues.
• Contribute to reporting requirements.
• Review and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Lead HR projects and initiatives.
