Job summary

SACARE|ONCALL in Melbourne is seeking a proactive People & Culture Advisor to support leaders and employees across the lifecycle, delivering practical solutions and ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Reporting to the Senior People & Culture Advisor, you will handle generalist HR duties, recruitment support, performance management, workforce planning, and continuous improvement initiatives within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Human Resources or People & Culture.
• Strong knowledge of HR administration and employment lifecycle.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-focused environments.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and sound judgement.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Collaborative approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
• Experience maintaining HR systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely HR advice and support to managers and employees.
• Assist with employee relations, including investigations and disciplinary processes.
• Coordinate probation reviews and support performance development.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
• Conduct audits of HR records for quality and compliance.
• Assist with recruitment activities and workforce planning.
• Interpret and apply employment conditions and policies.
• Build relationships with stakeholders including regulatory bodies.
