Partnering closely with the General Manager, Operations Manager and Group People & Culture team, you’ll provide practical advice and hands‑on support across recruitment, employee relations, performance and team development.

About the role

This is a part‑time position, working 23–30 hours per week, with travel to Penrith (NSW 2750) required every 6–8 weeks.
What you’ll be doing
  • Providing advice, coaching and support to leaders on employee and industrial relations matters, including the Panthers Enterprise Agreement, policies and relevant legislation.
  • Supporting grievance resolution, workplace investigations, and performance and conduct management processes.
  • Managing end‑to‑end recruitment for the site, including screening, interviews, reference checks, employment contracts and onboarding.
  • Contributing and delivering strategic People & Culture initiatives that support employee development, engagement and organisational growth.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and processing documentation relating to employment changes, performance reviews, position descriptions, compliance training and counselling.
  • Supporting People & Culture projects and training programs across the Group.
  • Providing onsite support for workers compensation and work health and safety matters.
  • Assisting with staff functions, recognition activities and fundraising events.
  • Providing day‑to‑day administration and support to the wider People & Culture team.
About you

You also bring:
  • At least 1–2 years’ experience in a People & Culture Officer or Advisor role.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Relations or a related discipline are preferred.
  • A sound understanding of the Fair Work Act and the ability to interpret and apply industrial instruments.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of workers compensation and work health and safety legislation.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills, with confidence managing multiple tasks and projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
