Wesfarmers Health is seeking a People & Capability Business Partner for a 12‑month max-term contract to support Beauty and Pharmacy Retail teams, primarily partnering with Corporate Store Leadership. You will report to the People & Capability Manager and drive people strategy, talent development and culture.

You will roll out new concepts like atomica and InstantScripts Pharmacy, build capability, manage employee lifecycle activities and contribute to strategic projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in P&C partnering across dispersed sites within an operational workforce.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building across levels.
• Expertise across full employee lifecycle with change management experience.
• Knowledge of ER/IR in unionised environments and Fair Work Act basics.

Responsabilités

What you’ll do:

We have a 12 months max-term contract opportunity for an energetic and customer centricPeople & Capability Business Partnerto support ourBeauty and Pharmacy Retail teams, primarily partnering with our Corporate Store Leadership team.

Reporting to the People & Capability Manager, you'll help drive our people strategy, support major initiatives like the roll out of our new beauty concept, atomica and our new Pharmacy concept, InstantScripts Pharmacy, whilst also building talent and culture for future growth.

You will act as the primary point of contact for the Corporate Store Leadership team, providing day-to-day support across BAU operations, employee lifecycle activities, and strategic people initiatives.

The focus of the role will be providing strategic partnering support. Working alongside People Advisory/Payroll, you will support the business on a wide range of people activities, whilst also driving a high-performance, growth-oriented culture.

You will also play a critical role in delivering on strategic projects including change management activities, partnering with the Talent Team to further roll out our new atomica stores, plus many more activities!

No two days will be the same and you will be flexible and agile, with a commercial mindset to move with a company that is experiencing rapid change.

This opportunity is open to candidates based in Melbourne or Sydney.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience of working within P&C Business Partnering roles across multiple geographically dispersed sites within an operational workforce, eg Retail, Aviation, Hospitality
• Customer focussed, strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively build strong working relationships, whilst also influencing and managing change
• Expertise across the full employee lifecycle, confidently influencing at all levels, driving change, and approaching challenges with creative, practical solutions
• Excellent influencing skills, working effectively with business partners at all levels and Centres of Excellence to deliver the best outcomes
• Strong ER/IR skills, with experience in supporting a unionised workforce, preferably white-collar industries
• High level understanding of the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and Enterprise Agreements, with proven experience interpreting and applying various industrial instruments
• Ability to work autonomously and managing projects end to end
• Tertiary qualifications in HR or relevant discipline
• Flexibility to travel intra and interstate and at times at short notice
