Method Recruitment Group in Melbourne is seeking a People & Culture Partner on a 12-month contract to support leaders, employees and business performance across the full employee lifecycle.

The role combines strategic partnering with hands-on HR operations, governance and compliance. You will drive culture initiatives, manage onboarding and ER, and work with senior leadership to shape workforce planning and remuneration benchmarking.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Business Partner / People & Culture Partner orSenior HR Advisor.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and employee relations.
• Experience partnering with leaders on performance, conduct and workplace matters.

We are seeking a People & Culture Partner to join a growing organisation and play a key role in supporting leaders, employees, and business performance. This is an opportunity to step into a broad generalist role where you can make a genuine impact across the full employee lifecycle.

About the Role

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will provide end-to-end HR support across business partnering, employee relations, culture, learning and development, recruitment, compliance, and HR operations.

This role is ideally suited to a proactive HR professional who enjoys working autonomously, building strong stakeholder relationships, and driving people initiatives that support both employees and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

People & Culture

• Partner with leaders on performance management, coaching, and employee relations matters.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience in a HR Business Partner, People & Culture Partner, or Senior HR Advisor position.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and employee relations.
• Experience supporting leaders on performance, conduct, and workplace matters.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial acumen.
• The ability to operate effectively in a standalone or small HR team environment.
