TalentWeb is partnering with a well-established national organisation to appoint an experienced People & Culture Business Partner for a 12 Month fixed-term contract with potential extension or permanency. You will collaborate with a national P&C team, advising leaders on employee lifecycle matters and helping build capability to manage people issues.

• Broad generalist HR experience within a corporate, customer-facing or sales-led environment.
• Experience supporting a complex or geographically dispersed national business.

• Experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning and annual people processes.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and managers across sales and corporate functions.

• Support workforce planning, organisational design, restructures and change initiatives.
• Partner with leaders across recruitment, onboarding, talent, succession and employee development.
• Contribute to annual remuneration, performance, engagement and talent-review processes.
• Interpret relevant employment legislation, modern awards, policies and procedures.
• Identify workforce trends and use people data to support informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with the broader People & Culture team on projects, systems and continuous improvement initiatives.

TalentWeb is partnering with a well-established national organisation to appoint an experienced People & Culture Business Partner for a 12 Month fixed-term contract (with possible extention or permenancy)

Working within a collaborative national People & Culture team, you will partner with a portfolio of sales, corporate and customer-facing functions. You will provide practical advice across the employee lifecycle while helping leaders build their confidence and capability to manage people matters effectively.

This is a broad, hands-on business partnering position suited to someone who enjoys balancing day-to-day operational support with workforce planning, organisational change and longer-term people initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and managers across sales and corporate functions
• Provide practical advice on performance, conduct, grievances, workplace conflict and other employee relations matters
• Coach leaders through difficult conversations, ensuring fair, consistent and appropriately documented outcomes
• Support workforce planning, organisational design, restructures and change initiatives

About you
You will be an established People & Culture Business Partner or an experienced Senior HR Advisor ready to operate with greater autonomy.
You will ideally bring:

• Broad generalist HR experience within a corporate, customer-facing or sales-led environment
• Experience supporting a complex or geographically dispersed national business
• Full Unrestricted Working Rights (Essential)
• Confidence managing employee relations matters from initial advice through to documentation and resolution
• Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and modern awards
• Demonstrated ability to coach and influence leaders at different levels
• Experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning and annual people processes
• A pragmatic and commercially balanced approach to people decisions
• Strong written communication, judgement and stakeholder-management skills
• The ability to work independently while contributing collaboratively to a national team

Experience gained within professional services, financial services, technology, property, retail head office, consumer services or another large sales-led corporate environment would be highly regarded.

The offer

• Base salary of $120,000-$130,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience
• Hybrid working with one to two days per week in the Sydney CBD office
