Job summary

The Child Development Hub in Brisbane is seeking a Speech Pathologist to work with children across a range of presentations within a supportive multidisciplinary team. The role offers flexible full-time or part-time arrangements and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

You will assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based speech therapy, work closely with families, and contribute to a collaborative care approach across disciplines. A Blue Card and SPA registration are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Speech Pathology Australia registration.
• Blue Card (Working With Children Check) in Queensland.
• Experience working with children and families preferred.
• Knowledge of goal-oriented, family-centred, evidence-informed practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess infants and children using standardised tools.
• Identify strengths and challenges; provide goal-oriented intervention.
• Educate families to support communication development and offer resources.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reports.
• Provide assistive technology assessments and prescriptions as needed.
• Deliver practice aligned with Speech Pathology Australia Code of Ethics.
