Job summary

Bear Cottage, part of the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network, is seeking an Assistant in Nursing for a temporary part-time role to support the RN and Allied Health team in delivering holistic care to children.

This role offers 18 hours per week with a base salary range of 65,150.16–71,479.42 full-time equivalent, plus superannuation, leave loading and salary packaging. Applications close 26 September 2026; WWCC and vaccination requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or in the disability sector is desirable.
• AIN role operates under supervision of a Registered Nurse in a team setting.
• Must meet NSW Health vaccination and WWCC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of basic nursing care under RN supervision.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold patient rights.
• Complete annual mandatory training and adhere to policies.
• Follow NSW Health guidelines and the SCHN position description.
