Job summary

Southern NSW Local Health District's Bear Cottage in Manly is seeking a Registered Nurse for permanent part-time and casual roles. The role focuses on paediatric palliative and hospice care within a home-like environment, supporting children and their families with compassion and clinical excellence.

You will work a 7-day rotating roster, align with NSW Health CORE values, and join a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current Authority to Practice as an Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Current Acute Nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Capacity to work a seven day rotating roster including public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, person-centred care to patients and families.
• Act as a role model reflecting NSW Health CORE values.
• Collaborate with multidisciplary teams to plan and deliver care.
• Support children with life-limiting illnesses in a paediatric hospice setting.
